SmartVersion is a shareware product. You may copy, distribute, and try it free of charge. However, if you wish to continue using it after the evaluation period, you must register. When you register you will receive a license, a registration code, and the latest release of SmartVersion.
Your evaluation period for SmartVersion is 30 days. After 30 days, you must register SmartVersion to continue using it legally. 30 days here denote the actual number of days in which you have used the product. For instance, if you use SmartVersion only on Mondays, your evaluation period will be 7 months long, since there are 30 Mondays in 7 months.
When you register SmartVersion, you will receive a unique registration number. You should enter that number into SmartVersion by selecting Registering in the Option menu, and entering the code when prompted. Once registered, SmartVersion will allow you to hide the first screen in the Preference (Option menu).
If possible, check the online ordering page at: http://www.smartversion.com/order.htm before registering. You'll have up-to-date registering information, including the latest list of foreign resellers. This page also contains links to secure servers which accept credit card payment. This is the fastest and easiest way to order SmartVersion!
The price of SmartVersion is $30.00 (US) or 30 Euro for a single user license. Upgrades for all future versions are free of charge, just like WinImage: users who purchased WinImage 1.0 back in 1993 are today enjoying WinImage 6.0, released in 2002, after just downloading a small file and entering their registration code! SmartVersion licenses include free upgrades in the same way. So don't delay your registration!
