Creating a Patch

The following provides a conceptual overview of the steps required to create a patch:

1. Start SmartVersion using the Start Menu shortcut.

2. Create a new SmartVersion File. When you create a new SmartVersion File, the base version of your product is added to this file.

3. Add new versions of your product to the SmartVersion File. As you add new versions, the SmartVersion File is updated automatically.

4. Make a SmartVersion File with a Version Subset to generate the required patches for your product.
